Each person in the "Faces of Breast Cancer Gallery" represents the approximate 1000 that are diagnosed every two days in the US. The Gallery opened November 12, 1997. Nearly a million people have been diagnosed in the US since then.
If you have breast cancer, the BRCA-1 gene or one of the other breast cancer genes and would like to be in the Gallery, please email me your photo and the following information: name, state/country, profession and/or major hobby, age at diagnosis (optional), month/year of diagnosis, how your cancer was found, were you told to "wait and watch" or something else that could have or did delay your diagnosis, treatment, lymphedema, remission or mets to where and, if you have a site, your site address.
If you have a friend or relative who has breast cancer, please send me their picture and information. If they are deceased, please send me their date of birth and death also.
Those of you already in the Gallery, may update your information or photo at any time.
